What Akido does
Akido combines a medical-provider network with Scope AI, technology developed for clinical care. Its model places AI inside the care workflow while patients continue to receive care from people through the Akido Medical network.
Scope supports clinicians with information and reasoning across diagnosis, diagnostics, treatment planning and health-risk assessment. Akido Chart connects those capabilities with the medical record, bringing the technology into the setting where care is delivered.
The company’s work spans primary care and specialist services. Akido’s distinguishing operating model is the combination of care delivery and its own clinical AI infrastructure, rather than a general chatbot offered directly to patients or a documentation app sold on its own.
