Overview
Doctronic combines an AI health interface with access to licensed clinicians for urgent and primary care. People can describe a concern in the AI chat and continue into a paid medical visit when treatment or clinician documentation is needed.
What Doctronic does
Doctronic’s AI intake gathers symptoms and context before a person speaks with a doctor. The conversation can help organize the patient’s history so the clinician does not have to begin with a blank intake.
The care service connects users with doctors for issues within the platform’s urgent- and primary-care scope, including situations that may need a prescription or a doctor’s note. Users can also take the information from the AI interaction to their own in-person clinician.
The AI chat is offered free, while the website publishes a self-pay price for a clinician visit. The operating model therefore combines software access and a medical service; the AI interaction alone is distinct from the doctor’s assessment and treatment.
Differentiation
Compared with a symptom checker
Doctronic offers a route from the initial AI interaction to a clinician who can provide medical care within the service’s scope.
Compared with appointment-only telehealth
The AI intake is available before the doctor visit and carries the patient’s context forward into the clinical interaction.
