Overview
Greptile develops AI code review grounded in the context of an entire codebase.
What Greptile does
Greptile reviews pull requests using context from the surrounding codebase. It builds a graph of files, functions and dependencies, then uses review agents to investigate changes and identify issues that may extend beyond the edited lines.
Teams can supply repository-specific instructions and coding standards, while the system also learns from review comments. Its reviews cover logical bugs, security concerns and conventions, with comments attached to the pull request so developers can act in their normal workflow.
A CLI, MCP integration and coding-agent connections carry findings into development tools for remediation. Greptile also presents runtime validation as a beta capability. The platform is intended to provide a shared review layer for code produced by both people and coding agents.
