Overview
Bretton AI combines an agent platform with managed financial-crime operations. It helps financial institutions run anti-money-laundering and related back-office workflows using their own data, policies and case procedures.
What Bretton AI does
Bretton’s agents gather evidence, apply the institution’s policies and prepare investigation work for review. Its public workflow examples include consumer and business enhanced due diligence, payment-scam investigations and checks around eligibility and documentation.
The managed-service offering adds an operating team around the platform, providing an alternative to staffing an entire administrative queue through a conventional BPO. Customers can use the technology within their existing systems rather than replacing the whole case-management stack.
The platform records actions and supporting evidence so work can be reviewed and explained. The institution retains its policies and regulatory responsibilities, while Bretton supplies the agentic execution infrastructure and, where engaged, the people supporting the operation.
Differentiation
Compared with compliance software alone
Bretton offers managed execution as well as the platform, so a customer can delegate a defined operating workflow rather than only buy another tool.
Compared with labor-led BPO
Its operating model places agents at the center of repeatable work, with the service team and customer controls surrounding that execution.
